There are different kinds of shower cubicles with different styles and functions. A shower cubicle would need a bathing tray, and either shower curtains on 3 sides, the fourth being the wall (this can be tiled), or sandblasted glass on the three sides. This glass is available either plain or with carved designs. Walk-in showers are quite the rage now. Today’s building lines are clean and straight.
A walk-in shower would be your best bet. It is small, has neat, clean lines, and glass on either all 4 sides, or you could have tiles on one wall and have the 3 other sides constructed. There are many lightweight materials available to create a framework. The door could be either a sliding one, or it can open outwards. The walk in showers area could be slightly raised from the floor. Have some space on the top between the top of the wall and the ceiling so that steam can escape and not suffocate the person who is bathing.
